Our Angel Stadium Series Baseball Story & Inspiration:

Let me take you to the City of Angels. Yes! Welcome to “The Big A”. The Angel Stadium, originally known as Anaheim Stadium, has been the home ballpark of the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB) since 1966. The unofficial nickname for the stadium, The Big A, was coined by Herald Examiner Sports Editor Bud Furillo. It is the fourth-oldest active Major League Baseball stadium, after Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Dodger Stadium; it is also the second-oldest stadium in the American League. In 1967, 1989, and 2010, it hosted the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

Angel Stadium, which opened for service in 1966, is the fourth oldest active yard. The A-shaped scoreboard topped with a "Halo" originally placed behind the left-field fence inspired the nickname "The Big A." The Halos have made it to the postseason 10 times, winning the World Championship in 2002. Nolan Ryan, Don Baylor, Rod Carew, Reggie Jackson, Tim Salmon, Vladimir Guerrero, and current stars Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani are just a few of the greats who have worn an Angels uniform.

Remember the iconic "Big A" sign, which was used as scoreboard support and near the eastern boundary of the parking lot. The Halo near the top of the 230-foot (70-meter) tall, the 210-ton sign illuminated following every Angel's victories. I hear Victor Rojas (broadcaster) would exclaim after a Victory, "Light that baby up!"

The Angels won the World Series in 2002, their first and only title appearance. They are one of three MLB franchises to have won their only World Series appearance. The best part is that each game starts with Train's "Calling All Angels" and ends with an instrumental version of Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky" during the team's starting lineup announcement, which is accompanied by a video depicting historical moments in the team's history. Always a Great momentum for all of the Angels.

Every great experience as Angels in “The Big A” Stadium is to cherish forever. Angel Stadium is the best collectible to have in your room or anywhere in your home. A Commemorative Baseball ideal for Angels like you and your family and friends watching games at Angel Stadium singing "I won't give up, you don't give up..." lyrics by Train in the opening part of every awesome game. Wow!
